In the last months the Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain has been informed of a continuous and sustained situation of hounding against the militants and supporters of our sister party, the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

For several months we have received news from our Indian comrades about killings, shootings, kidnappings, arson of militant's homes and party offices in different areas of India .

All the traces point to the Maoist group called Naxalite, in collusion, in some cases, with forces of the nationalist party Trinamool Congress, as responsible for these terrorist actions.

The Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain would like to express the following:

1)Our strongest condemnation to any kind of violence exerted against the militants and collaborators of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

2)Our full support to the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in their effort for the rising of the standards of living of the workers and popular classes of India, especially in those Indian states where they participate in the government together with other parties in the coalition Left Front.

The outcome of the elections is to restore the power bloc that leads the project in two versions: the right wing with their varying degrees of neofascist component, and the Social Democrat, in turn, with its variants more or less neoliberal. This block is legitimized imperialist power, once again, through the electoral process to continue with their insane strategy of capital accumulation and war against the working class against the peoples of Europe and the humanity. El Partido Comunista de los Pueblos de España (PCPE) participó ayer viernes en un mitin electoral organizado por el Partido Comunista de Grecia (KKE) en la localidad costera de Patra.

El acto, que contó con la presencia del Secretario General del Partido Comunista de Irlanda, Eugene McCartan, se realizó en una céntrica plaza de la localidad griega y en él participaron más de 1500 militantes y simpatizantes del KKE, que llegaron a la plaza en dos manifestaciones iniciadas en distintos puntos de la ciudad.

El mitin fue abierto por el representante irlandés, que destacó las dificultades que el movimiento popular del país está encontrando en su lucha por repetir la victoria del NO en el referéndum sobre el Tratado de Lisboa de 2008. Destacó las ingentes cantidades de dinero que las diferentes instituciones europeas están destinando a convencer al pueblo irlandés de que cambie su voto negativo en el referéndum que se repetirá el próximo otoño. Para Eugene McCartan, este acto antidemocrático de la UE, al repetir un referéndum que no ha salido como querían, “debe ser contestado por el pueblo irlandés con la solidaridad de todos los trabajadores y pueblos de la UE”.

El representante del PCPE, Ástor García, destacó el carácter antidemocrático y antipopular de la UE, su carácter de instrumento del gran capital contra los trabajadores y la necesidad de desenmascarar y debilitar a quienes quieren engañar a los trabajadores con sus propuestas de apoyo a la construcción captitalista de la UE.

Ambos invitados destacaron la importancia del documento conjunto firmado por 21 partidos comunistas de la UE, como herramienta que favorecerá la mayor coordinación y cooperación de las luchas obreras y populares en el seno de la Unión Europea en el futuro, con la perspectiva puesta en la salida de esta institución imperialista y la construcción de un nuevo modelo de desarrollo y relaciones entre los pueblos.

Cerró el mitin Thanassis Pafilis, cabeza de lista del KKE a las elecciones europeas, que repasó la situación política griega, denunció a quienes vierten mentiras y manipulaciones sobre su partido y criticó duramente las posiciones de la coalición Syn-Syriza y del PASOK, quienes han hecho del ataque al KKE la principal herramienta de su estrategia electoral. Pafilis señaló en repetidas ocasiones que el programa del KKE es “el programa de los trabajadores”, el que defiende sus intereses y llamó a reforzar electoralmente al Partido para poder mantener la línea de lucha contra las políticas antipopulres y antiobreras que vienen de la UE.

Previamente, los representantes del PCPE, del PCI y del KKE participaron en una rueda de prensa ante medios locales en la que se contestó a las preguntas de la prensa sobre el proceso electoral en cada país y las expectativas generadas por el documento conjunto de los comunistas europeos.

The Communist Party of Peoples of Spain (PCPE) is submitted to the European Parliament elections next June 7 under the slogan "Break the chains. Against the Europe of Capital and War ". We are analyzing from the beginning of the crisis about the subjectivity of the working class and popular sectors. Pressing your mood, your conscience. FACTS:

Is it permissible for a person not versed in economic and social opinions on the subject of socialism? First address this question from the perspective of scientific knowledge. It might seem that no, essential methodological differences between astronomy and economics: the aim is for scientists in both fields, to discover laws of universal validity for a limited group of phenomena in order to show as clearly as possible, their interrelatedness . But it is indisputable that such kind of methodological differences. It is not easy to discover general laws in the economic field since the observable economic phenomena are often influenced by various factors is very difficult to evaluate separately. THE DUAL NATURE OF MAN

Man is capable of thinking, feeling, fighting and working for himself, is, however, both the society-in the physical, intellectual and emotional-it is impossible to think of it, or try to understand, outside the society. It is the "society" that gives the man food, clothing, housing, work tools, language, forms and much of the content of thought, his life is possible for the work and achievements of millions of men of past and present what do mean by the negligible term "society".

It is therefore obvious that the dependence of the individual in respect of human society is an undeniable fact. As is the ant and the bee and the ant with respect to the hive. However, while the whole life process of ants and bees is due to the smallest detail, and a rigid hereditary instincts, the social norms and interrelationships of human beings are very variable and susceptible to change. A man inherits at birth, a biological constitution which we must consider fixed and unalterable, including the natural impulses characteristic of the human species. She joins in the course of his life, a cultural structure that man takes from society through communication and other means of influence. This cultural structure, subject to changes over time, determines to a large extent, the relationship between man and society.

Based on comparative research of the so-called primitive cultures, modern anthropology has taught us that the social behavior of human beings may differ greatly, depending on the prevailing cultural patterns and the types of organization which predominate in society. Here are those struggling to improve the course of human history. Biological constitution does not condemn men to a cruel fate that they were actually self, or to their mutual annihilation.

Those who wonder how it could change the structure of society and cultural attitudes of men to transform human life, should be aware that there are conditions that can not be changed. As mentioned, the biological nature of man is unchangeable, regardless of the order that men pursue. Moreover, technological development and population in recent centuries have created conditions in a definitive way. For relatively dense populations, which is self-sufficient in essential goods for their livelihood are essential a careful division of labor and a strictly centralized productive apparatus. The era in which individuals or small groups could be self-sufficient and that many consider idyllic, has disappeared forever. But the change is hardly an exaggeration to argue that humanity is still a planetary community of production and consumption.

Reached this point I should point out briefly what to me constitutes the essence of the crisis of our time: the individual-society relationship. Never had as much awareness today about the dependence of man from society. Unit that he did not experience positively, as an organic tie, or a protective force, but as a threat to his natural rights, and even to his economic existence. THE ORIGIN OF EVIL

In my view, the real source of evil lies in the economic anarchy of capitalist society today. Thus, we witness a huge community of producers whose members are fighting tirelessly to rid themselves of the fruits of their collective work, not by force but by the faithful complicity with the established legal order. In this regard, it is important to understand that the means of production, ie the total capacity required to produce consumer goods and capital goods-may legally be, and most are owned by private individuals.

For reasons of clarity in the discussion that follows, call "workers" all those who do not share ownership of the means of production, although this meaning is not responding to the use of the word. The owner of the means of production is in a position to buy the worker's labor force. Using the means of production, the worker produces goods which, in turn, become the property of the capitalist. This is true since the members of legislative bodies are selected by political parties, largely financed or influenced them in turn by private capitalists who, in pursuit of their objectives between the electorate of the legislature. Hence, in reality, the people's representatives did not adequately protect the interests of non-privileged sectors of the population. Under these conditions it is inevitable that even private capitalists to control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio,. Education). It is therefore extremely difficult and often impossible, for citizens to reach objective conclusions and make intelligent use of their political rights. Thus, the situation prevailing in an economy based on private ownership of capital, two fundamental principles: first, means of production (capital) are privately owned and the owners may dispose of them at their convenience, and second, the labor contract is free. Of course, there is not a pure capitalist society in this regard. In particular it should be noted that after long and bitter political struggles undertaken by the working class, certain categories of workers have made some "improvements" on the contract-free workplace. On the whole, however, the current economy does not differ largely from the "pure" capitalism.

It is not the only social gain that motivates the production. The "army of unemployed" is a variable of the system, which does not provide safe and permanent source of work for all those men able and willing to work. The worker is under constant threat of losing their jobs. Because the unemployed and low-wage workers do not provide a large market, the production of consumer goods is reduced by determining the consequent deprivation and hardship. Often, technological progress leads to reduced non-productive effort but unemployment. Dominant motivation of the capitalist (profit) and competition among capitalists, is the instability in the accumulation and use of capital, which in turn leads to increased depression. Unlimited competition wasted huge amounts of work and distorts the social consciousness of individuals.

I believe that this mutilation of man is the worst flaw of capitalism. Our whole educational system suffers from this evil. The student is promoted in an overly competitive attitude on inducing them to evaluate the purchasing power and make it your goal.

I am convinced that there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, mainly through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system driven by social objectives. In an economy like this, the company owns the means of production and uses in a planned way. A planned economy, which adjusts production to the needs of the community, will distribute the work needed among all those who were able to work and ensure the livelihood to every man, woman or child's education! individual would seek to promote it, both skill development and a sense of responsibility towards his fellow, instead of glorifying power and success for themselves, as does our current society.

However, it should remember that a planned economy is not synonymous with socialism. The enslavement of the individual may be simultaneous with the existence of a planned economy. The achievement of socialism requires the solution of socio-political problems closely difficult: How to prevent bureaucracy from becoming an overpowering and overbearing, based on a high centralizaci6n of political and economic power?

How to ensure individual rights and defenses and a strong democratic counterweight to the power of the bureaucracy? In our age of transition is of fundamental importance to understand clearly the objectives and problems of socialism.
